School Activities and Events
The PA NJROTC Unit and the American Red Cross will be holding a Blood Drive on Tuesday, October 23, in the small gym from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM.  You can donate blood if you are 16 years or older (16 years old require signed consent form.) Appointments for a specific time to donate blood can be made in front of the cafeteria during One Lunch or at the NJROTC building any other time during the day.  Before making your appointment, ensure you make arrangements with your teacher if you will be missing class. 

Faculty Follies is rescheduled from the tropical storm to Friday, Oct. 26th from 6:30-8:00 in the auditorium for $5.00.  Join your friends and teachers in a hearty chuckle!

This morning we congratulate 13 seniors designated as commended students in the National Merit Program.  They are honored for their outstanding performance on the 2017 PSAT.  The students are: Bryce Austin, Mary Black, Chloe Coose, Tyler Filipini, Shannon Glancy, Houlton McGuinn, Justin McHenry, Kohl Ratkovich, Alexander Simpson, Hannah Song, Paul Spears, Anna Super, and Raymond Wen.  Please see Mrs. Delaney to pick up your Letter of Commendation. 

The ASVAB will be given on November 9th at 7:45 am in the LMC. Please stop by Student Support Services to pick up a permission slip. The permission slip will have to be returned to Mr. Hunter by November 2nd. See Mr. Hunter with any questions or concerns.

Robotics Club will hold its first meeting of the year on Thursday, October 25th after school in room 604 from 2:30-3:30.  All are welcome to attend! Hope to see you there!

We are searching for students who have experience filming, using animation, or editing. If this is you, please see the bulletin board near the side auditorium doors for one lunch meeting times; YOU MUST attend the first meeting on November 1st to be considered. 

The PA Crew team will be participating in the Halloween Regatta at Lakewood Park in Norfolk this Sunday.  All teams will also compete for best themed costumes. Come cheer them on as they row on the Lafayette River in their costumes.  Tip: The best place to watch the regatta is by the seawall on Mayflower Rd. 

Congratulations to girls volleyball senior Jayna Francis! Last night Jayna surpassed her 1000th kill during the Dig Pink Match. Way to go Jayna!
