About our PTSA

The overall purpose of the PTSA is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. We were proud to be honored with the highest award a PTA can obtain during the 2017-2018 school year, the Exemplary Award, and we strive to earn this award again for 2018-2019.  PTSA supports PAHS through information programs, educational grants, student scholarships, arts in education, staff appreciation events, and student events like CavFest and our annual All Night Grad Fest.

Purposes of PTA/PTSA

PAHS PTSA is committed to promoting the purposes of the PTSA shared by the national and state level:

  • To promote the welfare of children and youth in the home, school, community, and places of worship.

  • To raise the standard of home life.

  • To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.

  • To bring into closer relation the home and the school, so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.

  • To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.

The PTSA continues to focus on communications through increased accessibility.  You can contact us by email, follow us on Facebook at Princess Anne HS Ptsa, and on Twitter, @cavalier_ptsa.

Volunteers Rock!

Regardless of the organization you are committing to or the amount of time, please  CLICK HERE to log your hours. You can also email us and we will log those hours for you!

PTSA also recognizes a Volunteer of the Year annually for PAHS.  Last year, George Sauer III was not only recognized as our PA Volunteer of the Year, but also won the Citywide Volunteer of the Year Award!
